Several of us have fond memories tied to sports, of time spent on freshly mown grass, or basketball courts in the summer heat. For me, it started as something more informal, neighborhood matches that eventually evolved into a full-blown love for the game, both on and off the field. Be it team sports like baseball, basketball, and soccer, or individual pursuits like boxing, every moment spent playing became an opportunity for learning.
These sports arenas are more than just spaces for athleticism. They are classrooms for life lessons wrapped in the thrill of the game. Here, I learned the importance of collaboration and accountability, where individual actions impacted the entire team's performance. I learned about self-motivation in the boxing ring, where overcoming pain came down to the strength of my resolve.
